J.M. CAZES

Owner of Château Lynch-Bages, the famous Classified Growth, Jean-Michel Cazes is at the head of a family-owned group that has developed its main activities in winemaking and gourmet cuisine. The estates of Jean-Michel Cazes include all the prestigious growths the family has owned for several generations: Château Lynch-Bages, Château Haut-Bages Averous (second wine of Lynch-Bages) and Château Cordeillan-Bages, at Pauillac, Château Les Ormes de Pez, at St. Estèphe, and Château Villa Bel-Air, at Graves.

The family is also present in the Languedoc area, where it acquired a new estate, Ostal Cazes, a magnificent property of vineyards and olive groves located at La Livinière, the first "communale" denomination of the Minervois region.

The Cazes family has since 2002 been associated to the Roquette family, of Quinta do Crasto, in the Portuguese DOURO Valley, to produce in this fine terrain a great wine called “XISTO – Roquette e Cazes”.
