The family owner of the estate proudly live up to the motto coined by their forefather, Constantino de Almeida.

The “HONORE” project, which commemorates Quinta do Crasto’s 400-year history, pays homage to the men and women who, through the centuries, invested in cultivating the vineyards and creating unique authentic wines that have long been recognized as some of the finest worldwide.

For the first time and to celebrate the centenary of the acquisition of Quinta do Crasto by Constantino de Almeida, a singular lot was prepared. The HONORE Douro, a unique wine, is part of the junction of the two most emblematic vineyards of Quinta do Crasto, from the excellent harvest of 2015, the year Quinta celebrates its fourth centenary (1615-2015). This exceptional blend is composed of 71.2% of wine from the Vinha Maria Teresa 2015 and 28.8% from the Vinha da Ponte 2015.

After a 20-month stint in oak barrels, only 1615 Magnuns bottles were produced, numbered in honor of the four centuries of Quinta do Crasto’s history (1615-2015), thus joining in its commemoration of the centenary of the purchase and refoundation of Quinta do Crasto by Constantino de Almeida (1918 – 2018).
